Summer Research Institute 2004
The Summer Research Institute (SRI) began with several “fun” orientation week events including a “group dynamics” session where the scholars examined their personality types “in-depth.” They also completed a “ropes course” which generated a lot of “personal side stories” as each scholar maneuvered their way around the course. All in all, they all did a great job, encouraged one another throughout and only gained minor muscular “aches and pains” the following day. There were lots of smiles that day!
The scholars enjoyed a mid-summer picnic at Lynn’s house, celebrating their progress made on their research projects and summer ended with a relaxed gathering of several scholars with their family and friends.
